Only a 5 minute drive from Kaiapoi Township (population 12,000) and only a 15 minute drive north of the Christchurch CBD and Christchurch International Airport. Kaiapoi has all services including restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, shops, garages and banks. The Waipara wineries are only 15 minutes away as well. Lacebark Event Centre (wedding venue) is just a five minute walk further along Moodys Road.
The alpaca is simply adorable – great looks, friendly, inquisitive, long eye lashes and great with children, one of the best attractions in Christchurch. The fibre is exquisite – soft and fine with the most amazing handle. During the farm tour, visitors will get to feed and touch the alpacas, take plenty of photographs and afterwards be show prize winning fleeces and taken into the Silverstream shop and trophy room.
