Our Christchurch Farmstay Location
Silverstream Alpaca Stud is located on the northern side of Christchurch city, just over the Waimakariri River in the Clarkville/Ohoka region and just four kilometres from Kaiapoi. We are approximately 20 kilometres or 30 minutes drive from the city centre and just 19 minutes drive from Christchurch International Airport.
Farmstay location from Christchurch Airport
On leaving the Christchurch International Airport, turn left at the second roundabout onto Johns Road. Follow the signs north to Kaiapoi, Kaikoura and Picton.
Take the second off-ramp on crossing the Waimakariri River and turn left onto Ohoka Road. Travel for about 1 km and take third exit on your left (Butchers Road) – there is a large blue Bed and Breakfast sign at this corner.
Turn left into Butchers Road and after about 100 metres turn left into Moodys Road – there is a second large blue Bed and Breakfast sign on your right. Silverstream Alpaca Farm is about 1 km down Moodys Road on your left hand side.
There is a wooden sign with the words “Silverstream Alpaca Farmstay” close to the driveway entrance.
