LOCATION

Silverstream Alpaca Stud is located on the northern side of Christchurch city, just over the Waimakariri River in the Clarkville/Ohoko region.

FROM THE AIRPORT
On leaving the Christchurch airport terminal, turn left at the second roundabout onto Johns Road. Travel for about 8 kilometres passing through the Wairakei Road, Harewood Road and Sawyers Arms roundabouts, past the winery and motels until you reach traffic lights at the Main North Road. See the Shell garage on your right.

Turn left onto the Main North Road and pass through the suburb of Belfast until you reach the Northern Motorway. The Northern Motorway will take you across the Waimakariri River to Kaiapoi and the northern part of the South Island.

Take the second off-ramp on crossing the Waimakariri River and turn left onto Ohoka Road. After 100 metres you will come to a T junction – turn right into Island Road and travel for about 1 kilometre. Pass the cemetry on your right and turn left immediately after crossing the Silverstream river into Butchers Road.

Drive for about 1 kilometre and turn left into Moodys Road (a shingle road).

Silverstream is number 68 on your left hand side. Our mailbox has our name ‘JOHNSON’ on the side.
